Mechatronics and Robotic Systems

Liverpool is one of the UK leaders in the research and development of autonomous systems. Our students are encouraged to develop cutting-edge knowledge of advanced control engineering, robotics, mechatronics and systems integration. The Mechatronics and Robotic Systems program leads to an integrated BSc degree covering all three disciplines. The integrated degree includes a core of 8 core modules from three disciplines, and an 18-credit research project within a chosen discipline. Students will develop the skills required for future employment in industry and research, and should aim to progress to PhD or post-graduate study.
