Italian and Classical Studies

Liverpool has a long, distinguished history in Classical Studies and Italian Studies, with a significant number of our students pursuing a career in these areas. The undergraduate degree programs in Italian and Classical Studies provide the opportunity to study the classical languages in addition to providing a very wide range of subjects in areas such as the history of ancient Roman culture, the history of ancient Greek culture, ancient Roman history, ancient Roman architecture and Latin literature.
