Egyptology and Classics

The University of Liverpool offers both Egyptology and Classics degrees that are part of the Department of Classics and Egyptology. The Egyptology degree focuses on the excavation of sites, and provides the opportunity to work with archaeological material, and acquire the necessary skills in excavation and site management. The Classics degree is concerned with the study of ancient Greece and Rome, and provides an excellent grounding for careers in teaching and research.
