Classical Studies

With a range of full-time and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including research degrees, the University of Liverpool is a world leader in classical studies. The classical studies department has produced a number of distinguished alumni including the poet and critic, Seamus Heaney and the playwright Tom Stoppard. All of these courses are taught by qualified staff who have significant academic and practical experience of teaching classical studies.
