The Department of Chinese Studies at the University of Liverpool is one of the world's leading centres in the study of Chinese culture, literature and history. The China Centre offers a wide range of opportunities for its students to engage with the Chinese communities in Europe and China as well as with one of the world's largest publishing houses (Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press) and its subsidiary, Shanghai Foreign Language Publishing Company.
