Urban Design

The course is concerned with the historical, physical and social development of particular urban areas. It uses theoretical, critical and practical approaches to urban studies and urban design, exploring and analysing the role of the city in contemporary society. The course offers a wide range of opportunities to develop a holistic approach to cities, to work with real urban problems and to participate in the design and implementation of urban development.
