Working with Children and Families

The University of Cumbria offers a wide range of undergraduate courses in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS). The BA (Hons) Child and Family Studies degree will open up new career paths for you, and you will be able to develop valuable skills in your studies by taking part in a range of modules. A key module will be your placement year, which will be spent practising your communication and counselling skills by working with vulnerable groups of the community. By the end of your degree, you will have gained the skills you need to work with children and families in a range of settings.
