Professional Policing (with integrated foundation year)

The University of Cumbria offers a one year foundation degree in Professional Policing which includes a residential week at the University. The course is designed to offer a good grounding in the professional aspects of policing and to prepare students for the Foundation Certificate. Professional Policing is available for students who want to pursue an alternative route to achieving the City & Guilds Policing Professional Diploma. It is also an option for those wishing to enhance their skills, knowledge and understanding of the role of the Police Officer.
