Midwifery (Pre Registration)

The course is designed to develop a holistic approach to the study of midwifery, and an emphasis is placed on an appreciation of the social, emotional, cultural and spiritual aspects of pregnancy and maternity. The course is underpinned by a strong ethical framework and it aims to develop the confidence and competence of graduates to be an effective and positive contributor to maternity care.
