The course is designed to teach you how to analyse economic problems and understand the role of political, legal, and social institutions in influencing the functioning of the economy. You will study the main theories of economic analysis, including the classical and neoclassical theories, as well as alternative theories. You will study the economic environment, the impact of the state within it, and the major influences on the behaviour of individuals and firms.
