History of Art

The Department of History of Art at the University of Buckingham offers a comprehensive range of courses, including MPhil and PhD, for those wanting to study the History of Art. Our degree courses provide students with opportunities to specialise in areas that they may wish to pursue throughout their career, such as the study of medieval art, the study of painting or conservation. Our PhD program offers an interdisciplinary approach to the study of art and its history, and our students are encouraged to pursue their research interests and specialisms in a range of different areas.
