EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Robotics and Autonomous Systems

The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) in Edinburgh is a collaborative project between the University of Edinburgh and the EPSRC Centre for Manufacturing Systems and Technologies (CMSaT). The University of Edinburgh's main campus is not usually known as a centre of robotics research, but over the last twenty years it has become a world leader in the development of robotics. The EPSRC Centre for Robotics and the University of Edinburgh Robotics Centre have collaborated on a number of projects and this EPSRC Centre is now developing a new Doctoral Training Program which is designed to develop researchers into world-class experts in robotics.
