The University of Edinburgh has a strong reputation in human genetics, offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The Department of Molecular and Human Genetics is the first genetics department in the UK to have a Centre of Excellence for Human Genomics, and the first in Europe to have an undergraduate degree focused on genetic disease.
