The School of Art & Design at the University of Edinburgh is one of the largest art schools in the UK, with over 1700 students in the full-time and post-graduate programs. The School was created in 1971 to serve the artistic community of the city, and the School has been a leader in many areas of artistic practice, from fine art and sculpture, to the visual arts, music, media and digital arts.
