The Dietetics MDiet at Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen is a four-year program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to become competent dietitians. The program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the science of nutrition, the principles of nutritional assessment and planning, and the application of nutrition to health care. Students will learn about the role of dietitians in promoting health and well-being, and the ethical and legal frameworks that underpin the practice of dietetics. Through a combination of lectures, seminars, practicals, and clinical placements, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of dietetics, its role in healthcare, and its importance in promoting good health. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be able to work as qualified dietitians in a variety of settings.
SQA Higher: BBCC to include Chemistry at B and one further science from Biology/Human Biology, Home Economics, Environmental Science, Maths or Physics and English or a subject requiring the use of English. English, Biology and Maths are required at National 5 B if not held at Higher.
