The Robert Gordon University (RGU) Aberdeen offers a five-year Architecture Part 2 RIBA/ARB Master of program. This program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become a professional architect. It includes a comprehensive series of modules, covering all aspects of architecture from design theory to construction management. The program also includes two years of professional practice experience, giving students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. Students will also have access to the University's state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated design studio and laboratory. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be eligible to register with the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) or the Architects Registration Board (ARB). This qualification will open up opportunities for graduates to pursue a successful career in architecture.
pplicants normally have the following:
A 2.2 undergraduate degree, or equivalent, in Architecture with an overall performance in the final year of 50 % or above in the final year of study.
Have an exemption from the Architects Registration Board (ARB) & Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Part 1, but this is not compulsory*
Submission of a satisfactory portfolio of design work
Applicants whose first language is not English should have an IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
