Accounting and Finance (including foundation year)

The Department of Accounting and Finance offers a specialist foundation course for those wishing to pursue a career in accounting. This includes an extensive foundation year in which students learn about the history of the discipline, learn the basics of accounting including the recording, reporting and analysis of financial transactions, and gain a sound understanding of the major concepts and principles of modern accounting and finance.
