Teesside University recently hosted the Hello World Conference, which welcomed students from local schools and colleges for a day of workshops and panel discussions focused on digital technology. The event was aimed at inspiring the next generation of IT professionals, with a particular focus on empowering girls in the field.

Workshops Led by Industry Experts and Teesside University Academics

The conference covered a range of topics, with workshops led by Teesside University academics and industry professionals. Students were introduced to the practical applications of digital technology in fields such as gaming, animation, and web development. The conference also included a panel discussion titled “Inspiring Women”, featuring experts from organizations such as Framestore, Sumo Digital, Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd, and Visualsoft.
