Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance BA (Hons)

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance at the University of York is an innovative 3-year program designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to make a meaningful contribution to the theatre industry. This degree provides students with an interdisciplinary education in topics such as performance theory, design, writing and directing, production, stage management and dramaturgy. Students will also gain hands-on experience through studio classes and practice-based courses that enable them to hone their creative skills while developing a portfolio of original work. Graduates from this program are well prepared for careers in directing, producing, or writing for the stage or screen.
