Mathematics/Physics (Equal) BSc (Hons)

The Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Physics (Equal) program at the University of York is a unique and interdisciplinary degree that offers students the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of both mathematics and physics. This 3-year degree provides students with a comprehensive education in topics such as calculus, linear algebra, mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. Students will also be provided with hands-on experience through laboratory exercises and research projects allowing them to apply their knowledge to real-world problems. Graduates from this program are well equipped for careers in a variety of fields including industry, research institutes, government agencies or teaching.
