History PGCE

The Postgraduate Certificate in History at the University of York is a unique opportunity for students to gain an advanced understanding of the past. This one-year program provides students with a comprehensive education in a range of topics from historical research methods, to political and social history, to intellectual and cultural history. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills through engaging courses on historiography and world civilizations.
