History MPhil

The University of York's Master of Philosophy in History is a two-year program designed to equip students with an advanced knowledge and understanding of historical research and analysis. This highly rigorous program features a curriculum that covers topics such as historiography, public history, cultural heritage, and historical methods. Through courses and seminars, students will develop their critical thinking and writing skills as well as their capacity to conduct primary source-based research.
