The Bachelor of Arts in English/History of Art (Equal) at the University of York is a unique program that combines two distinct disciplines – English and History of Art – to provide an innovative and interdisciplinary education. Students in this program have the opportunity to explore a wide range of topics within these two areas, such as literature, language studies, literary theory, visual culture, art movements and styles, art history and historiography. They will also gain hands-on experience through various field trips and research projects which will increase their understanding of how literature, culture, history, and art intersect with one another.
