The Master of Science in Chemistry, the Atmosphere and the Environment (with a year abroad) at the University of York is an innovative program that provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of chemistry, its application to atmospheric processes, and the impact on our global environment. This two-year program offers a wide range of courses on topics such as air pollution, energy systems, climate change, environmental chemistry, and sustainability. Students will also have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience through fieldwork or laboratory projects in locations around the world. The program’s unique feature is its international immersion component which includes a full year abroad studying in one of York’s partner universities located across Europe, North America, Asia and beyond.
