Admission Requirements
To qualify for the MA in Wildlife Filmmaking at UWE Bristol, applicants typically hold an undergraduate degree. While previous media skills can be advantageous, they are not obligatory. The program values diversity and encourages applicants from various backgrounds.
The selection process entails the following steps:
Applicants are expected to submit:
- A concise program idea for a short-form wildlife documentary (max. one A4 page).
- A list of ten documentary titles, each accompanied by a paragraph sharing personal reflections.
- A sample of creative work (film, photography, writing, etc.).
Shortlisted candidates will proceed to an online interview where they'll present a showreel or portfolio showcasing their creative endeavors, which may encompass audio, film, video, photography, and writing.
