English Literature

The English Lit BSc (Hons) degree in Bristol is one of the most popular programs. Our degree has a reputation for teaching innovation and for introducing students to new kinds of writing. Students will be offered a wide range of options in English literature, including creative writing, literary criticism, English prose, and creative dramatics. Students are encouraged to develop their own interests and to follow their own literary path. This is made possible through extensive teaching in a wide range of courses across the Faculty. We will prepare you for both the literary and the creative writing industry.
