Politics and Sociology with Foundation Year

The study of politics and sociology at the University of Surrey will give you the skills and experience needed to understand and interpret politics and sociology.
You will study the broad range of political and socio-logical theories that have informed contemporary and past societies, and how they can be applied to the modern world and its problems. You will also develop the analytical techniques by which you can examine and understand problems of contemporary politics and sociology. The politics and sociology degree will provide you with the knowledge, skills and experience needed to understand and interpret politics and sociology, as well as how these can be applied to a range of modern political and social problems.
