Biomedical Science with Foundation Year

The Biomedical Science program is a flexible and unique pathway designed for students who wish to specialise in the field of Biomedical Science. Students are encouraged to use their time in their 'Foundation Year' - typically the first 12 months of their course - to gain hands-on experience and explore areas of the subject that interest them. Throughout the year, students undertake placements in a variety of NHS Trusts and University departments. Students have the opportunity to develop transferable skills, personal and professional experience and meet with experts within the field.
