Primary Education

The University of Strathclyde offers a comprehensive program of study in primary education. The undergraduate primary teaching degree, which is part of a full BEd program, is one of the largest in Europe. It has been the key route into teaching by many experienced and talented teachers, and many of the teachers who complete the program go on to teach within primary schools as lead teachers, assistant head teachers, or in specialist fields that fall outside primary education.
