Mathematics and Professional Education

The BSc Mathematics is a fully-accredited, four year undergraduate degree which is designed to prepare graduate students for a career in mathematics and related fields. Students are admitted for progression after completing the first year. The program incorporates fundamental mathematical sciences, including analysis, algebra, geometry, probability, algebraic number theory and statistics. In addition, students may specialise in areas such as discrete mathematics, number theory, combinatorics and probability, and applied mathematics.
