Counselling and Therapeutic Practice

The Counselling and Therapeutic Practice course is a program of study designed to meet the growing demand for counsellors in industry, the public service sector, health care and education. This study leads to a BSc (Hons) degree in Counselling and Therapeutic Practice where students will be introduced to a range of therapeutic approaches used in a counselling context. The program includes a module on the theory and practice of counselling. In an industry context students will have the opportunity to undertake a placement in a local counselling establishment.
