Medical Microbiology with an Industrial Placement Year

Medical Microbiology is a relatively new degree and is delivered through the School of Medicine. During the first year of the degree, you will undertake a core set of medical microbiology modules, whilst also gaining a comprehensive understanding of the core areas of microbiology. These are then followed by two years of industrial placement, during which you will work in a relevant industry to gain valuable experience and develop skills in an industry setting.
