Medical Genetics with an Industrial Placement Year

The course will lead to a BSc(Hons) Medical Genetics degree and will provide you with the knowledge and skills to develop into a successful genetic counsellor. You will gain valuable experience of applying your knowledge and skills in a professional role working in the NHS and the pharmaceuticals industry. You will be able to demonstrate that you have the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to be an effective professional in the genetic counselling field.
