Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology

In the Department of Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology the students are taught cutting edge techniques in their subject and are trained to meet the growing demand for this specialist area of forensic anthropology. The MSc (Hons) in Forensic Anthropology offers students the opportunity to study in one of the most dynamic and productive forensic anthropology groups in Britain. The MSc is taught in conjunction with the Department of Forensic Medicine and the Department of Legal Medicine and Forensic Pathology. The training program is highly demanding with a high proportion of the students having a background in forensic medicine.
