Human Resource Management (Masters stage)

The degree is designed to give students the opportunity to build on their knowledge and skills in the area of human resource management as well as developing their practical and analytical skills. The course provides students with an understanding of the role of human resources in an organisation, the main legal frameworks that govern such a role and its relationship to the wider organisation. The course equips students with a detailed understanding of the role of the human resources professional, in terms of organisational culture, human resources governance, management and leadership strategies, the role of HR in the wider context of business and the strategic role of HR in that context, HR research and evaluation, policy development and implementation.
