Social Work

The Social Work (Hons) degree at the University of Essex, which has been awarded the University status, is a top degree in England specifically designed to prepare you for a career in social work. It is a 3-year program which provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to enter the world of social work. This is a new degree, but is unique in the UK. The social work degree is different from other social work degrees in that it focuses on human behaviour, social issues and the human condition.
