Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies (Including Placement Year)

The Psychosocial and Psychoanalytic Studies degree at Essex is intended for students who want to train to become psychoanalysts or psychiatrists or who wish to gain an insight into mental health. Students will study the psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, critical, narrative and cultural theories which underpin contemporary psychoanalysis and the psychosocial studies. The degree will also involve a placement year.
