Politics (including foundation year)

The University of Essex, with its outstanding reputation in the field of politics, is the largest provider of undergraduate degrees in the UK. All undergraduates in the University can elect to take a foundation year course to be completed before starting their courses. This year-long program is based on the foundations for a degree in Politics and Administration. Students are encouraged to seek out work experience in a relevant area such as a local Member of Parliament, a local think tank or the local council. In addition to the Foundation Year in Politics and Administration, there are also many other subjects available.
