Philosophy (Including Foundation Year)

The University of Essex is one of the few universities to offer a BA (Hons) Philosophy degree that is also taught at Foundation Year level. Philosophy is at the heart of much of the University of Essex's teaching and learning activity. Students who study Philosophy learn how to think and engage with a wide range of important philosophical problems and how to communicate effectively with others about the nature of knowledge and experience.
