Philosophy and Literature (Including Foundation Year)

The University of Essex Philosophy and Literature degree aims to equip you with a deep understanding of philosophy and literature, enabling you to develop your critical thinking abilities by applying the insights gained to your own study and research. You will also develop an awareness of the connections between philosophy and literature, and the ways in which they can be used as tools for promoting equality, justice, and freedom.
