Philosophy and Art History (Including Placement Year)

Under the tutelage of Dr John C.B. Mill, you will undertake studies in the history and theory of art. You will examine various aspects of the visual arts including painting, sculpture, literature, and architecture. Each year you will devote one term to a course in studio art, learning to build sculptures and paintings. You will also study a range of related courses such as philosophy and aesthetics, art history, ethics, gender and cultural studies as these may interest you.
