Neural Engineering with Psychology (Including Placement Year)

The Neuroscience program, as part of the School of Biological Sciences, at the University of Essex provides an exceptionally unique opportunity for students to become involved in the study of the neural basis of human behaviour. The Neuroscience program offers a combination of theoretical and experimental approaches within a variety of topics including the genetics and physiology of the nervous system, synaptic function, cellular mechanisms of learning and memory, and the use of computational techniques to model the neural systems in the brain.
