MLing English Language and Linguistics (integrated masters)

The MLing Linguistics (Integrated Masters) is a two programme: Master of Language (ML) and Master of Linguistics (MLing). The two programmes are integrated for the first year, and then the two are studied separately from the end of the first year until the completion of the degree. The MLing Linguistics degree is a joint degree programme at the University of Essex which enables students to combine their general degree in English Language and Linguistics with a specific degree in Linguistics. It also enables students who do not wish to pursue a career in teaching and/or research to gain the knowledge and skills required for such employment.
