Liberal Arts

The Liberal Arts degree is a new degree at the University of Essex and provides a broad-based foundation in Humanities, Social Sciences and the Arts. The program is designed for motivated generalists and offers a broad range of subjects and study options. You will study a core of courses in each subject area and then choose from one of several pathways to make your degree more specific. You can either study two subjects at A-Level or study them all in one year.
