Journalism and Politics

The University of Essex is a public university in Colchester, Essex, England. Established in 1970, it currently has 25,000 students, and has around 200 different courses for degrees and postgraduate research. The Journalism and Politics degree provides students with a solid grounding in the history of journalism, the social and political context in which it is produced, and in how it is consumed. It enables students to develop an understanding of the relationship between journalism and politics in the modern world and the processes of journalism and politics.
