English Language and Literature (Including Year Abroad)

Our BA (Hons) English Literature and Languages degree at University of Essex offers students the opportunity to study a wide range of topics and disciplines in English. You can choose to specialise in a particular subject (e.g. Literature or linguistics) or, if you have a different interest, you can combine your English specialism with a different subject. The degree is designed to develop a rounded approach to language and literature.
