English and United States Literature (Including Placement Year)

The English and United States Literature program at Essex University is an undergraduate program designed to take a critical approach to the study of the literature of the United States and England. Students learn about the history and culture of modern-day America and England and gain a thorough knowledge of the language, culture, and ideology of the United States and England.
