English and Comparative Literature (Including Placement Year)

The University of Essex English and Comparative Literature course is designed for those who wish to pursue a career in education. Students are able to gain a variety of qualifications from postgraduate to undergraduate level, and can choose to follow undergraduate courses in both English and Comparative Literature or English Literature, as well as a number of postgraduate courses.
