Curating with Politics (Including Placement Year)

Curating with Politics is a new MA in Art, Media and Design (formerly MA Visual and Cultural Studies) offered within the University of Essex's School of Art and Design. It offers a unique opportunity to explore the complex relationship between the arts and politics. The MA has its roots in the curatorial practice and theory of the late 1980s and early 1990s, the period that saw the development of art-based, radical, social practice.
