Biochemistry

BioChemistry is the study of the fundamental processes that control life. BioChemistry is the first course you will take when you join the University of Essex. You will learn the molecular basis of the way living cells operate, and how they produce life-giving substances. You will learn the fundamental knowledge, methods and techniques required to perform experiments and analyse results. You will also study the role of the molecules you study in regulating the fundamental process of life.
